What's to fear and loathe in Las Vegas?

Las Vegas in renowned as the entertainment capital of the world, with the famous Las Vegas strip teeming with abundant gambling and entertainment venues, some of which are the largest in the world. The casinos are free (for a free online casino, try out Platinum Play Online Casino), and open 24 hours, with the best selection of table and slot games.

photo Directed by Terry Gilliam, and based on the book of the same name by Hunter S. Thompson, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas stars Johnny Depp as Raoul Duke, Benicio Del Toro as Dr. Gonzo and Tobey Maguire as The Hitchhiker. In this dark comedy, Duke and Gonzo travel across the Nevada desert in a Chevy convertible on their way to Las Vegas, as Duke is writing an article about the Mint 400 motorcycle race. During the trip, the two characters, who are under the influence of various psychoactive drugs, including mescaline and cocaine, come across a hitchhiker, who eventually flees the car as he is terrified by the absurd behavior of the two. When they reach the hotel that they are staying in, Duke is hallucinating wildly, having taken acid a few hours before in the car.

What follows is a drug-induced adventure, with Duke tripping all the way from the motorcycle race event to the Bazooko Circus Casino, and his haze continues to his hotel room, where he finds Gonzo in the bathtub, equally drugged-up. This is merely the beginning of a mad series of events ...

What happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas, as Duke eventually heads back to California with a head possessed by wild memories, as a consequence of all the bizarre behavior he and Gonzo indulged in during their pursuit of the "American dream."
