The IAMfree Museum is the inaugural museum space for Artists for Revolution through Technology on the Internet (ARTnet). Artists for Revolution through Technology is a not-for-profit public benefit corporation that hopes to allow artists the opportunity to create art that is solely for artistic expression and not for commercial value.

The oddly named Index of Directory: Images/Arts is an art image archive maintained by David Bouman on the "public maintenance" WWW site of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. It contains images of artworks by a variety of modern masters: Monet, Degas, Leger, Miro, Kandinsky, Malevich, Picasso, Hockney, Johns and even da Vinci -- all for the downloading.

Artdirect: A magazine about art and culture from mezzo-sopranos to motorcycles; with guides to museums, galleries, theater, music, and architecture in five major California cities with new cities added every month. There's also Bibliotheque, a small press bookstore featuring books, magazines, comics, CD-ROMS and museum catalogs.

MUSEOS: An art exhibition magazine that presents listings of current selections of art exhibitions shown in museums around the world. In addition, it presents daily news, ephemeris, and events of the art world.

OnLine Design: A monthly magazine devoted to electronic design and graphics.

The WebMuseum (Paris), put together as a not-for-profit art venture by Nicolas Pioch, displays art works organized in the Gothic Painting (1280-1515), Italian Renaissance (1420-1600), Baroque (1600-1790), Revolution and Restoration (1740-1860), Impressionism (1860-1900) and Cubism to Abstract Art (1900-1960) periods. Most of his efforts have been concentrated on developing materials related to Impressionism.
